 Getting Around Copper Mountain

  • Free shuttles run from 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM in the Winters at Copper Mountain.

    Copper Loop

    • This is an inner village shuttle that stops at East Village, the Athletic Club & Woodward, Center Village, Passage Point and West Village. If you wish to exit at Passage Point or the Athletic Club & Woodward, please inform the driver. This bus does not go to the Alpine or Far East parking lots. You may transfer from the Copper Loop to one of the parking lot buses to reach the Alpine or Far East Lots. These bus stop signs have a copper colored band at the top of the sign.

    Green Express

    • Service from the Alpine and Far East parking lots to West Village. This bus will also stop at Passage Point (Westbound) in the morning for the E.D.G.E. only if you inform the driver. The bus stop sign has a green band at the top and has a large, green circle on it. This bus does not stop at Passage Point heading eastbound.

    Blue Express

    • Service from the Alpine parking lots to Center Village via Ten Mile Circle. The bus stop sign has a blue band at the top and has a large, blue square on top of it.

    Black Express

    • Service from the Alpine parking lots to East Village. The bus stop sign has black band at the top and has a large, black diamond on the top of it.

    Purple Express

    • Service from the Far East parking lot to East Village. This bus will not stop in the Alpine lot. The bus stop sign has a purple band at the top and has a large, black diamond on the top of it.

  • The three villages at Copper Mountain are close enough to walk in between the villages and enjoy beautiful mountain views along the way.

    Center to East Village

    • Summer only (in the Winter, we recommend the bus)

    • Walk along Copper Road: .6 mile walk (12 minutes)

    Center to West Village

    • Enjoy a peaceful walk along the river (year round)

    • Walk along Copper Creek: .4 mile walk (9 minutes)

    Center to Green Acres/Woodward/Athletic Club

    • Sidewalk is open year round

    • Walk along Copper Road: .3 mile walk (6 minutes)

  • The Copper Coach, a 16-person shuttle offering free rides from one destination within a resort to another.

Parking at Copper Mountain

  • Free Lots

    FREE Parking is available 7 days a week from 5am to 10pm in the Alpine & Far East Lots

    Where? From I-70 merge onto CO-91 S via EXIT 195 toward Copper Mtn/Leadville. Proceed past Copper Road on CO-91 & follow signage for the Alpine or Far East Parking lots.

  • Paid Lots

    Paid parking lots include Ten Mile Lot, Chapel Lot, Union Creek Lot, Beeler Lot, Wheeler Lot, and the Triple Treat Lot. Prices will vary throughout the season.

    Guests cannot reserve parking in advance for Triple Treat Lot. If there is availability, guests can pay to park in the lot when they arrive.

  • Free Summer Parking

    In the summer Free Parking is available in all parking lots. The Flyer Lot will be closed on Saturdays.

  • Rv Parking & Camping

    Camping is not permitted at Copper Mountain. This is based upon Copper’s Land Use agreement with Summit County Government.

    • RV parking and overnight camping is not allowed at Copper.

    • Special events may occasionally be permitted by Summit County Government for camping. This is an exception to normal operations and requires special permitting

  • Overnight Parking

    Beginning November 13, 2023, overnight parking in the Alpine Lot will be available for $20 per vehicle. A parking pass can be obtained at the kiosk in Alpine Lot.

Getting To Copper Mountain

  • The Bustang

    Provided by Greyhound and the Colorado Department of Transportation, the Bustang bus runs daily between Denver and Glenwood Springs with a stop at the Frisco Transfer Station. From there, you can take the free Summit Stage straight to Copper

Getting Around Summit County

  • Uber, Lyft, and Taxis

    Taxi services are not common in Summit County, however are growing in popularity each year. This is not yet a dependable source of transportation in the County.

  • Summit Stage

    The Summit Stage is a free bus service in Summit County with routes throughout Frisco, Breckenridge, Silverthorne, and Dillon. For schedules visit Summit Stage website.

  • Leadville

    The Summit Stage also runs to Leadville, out of the East Village stop. To see the schedule visit the Summit Stage’s website, select “Lake County Link” and look at the “East Village” schedule.
