Cruise through the forest and enjoy views of the Ten Mile Range on the Rocky Mountain Coaster. As one of America’s longest alpine coasters, you’ll make your way down 5,800 feet of track, hitting speeds up to 25 miles per hour.

The Rocky Mountain Coaster is open in the Summer and Winter.

    • Driver must be 9 years or older and a minimum of 52" tall.

    • Children must be 3 years or older and a minimum of 36" tall.

    • Passengers ages 3 - 8 must ride with a driver 16 years or older.

    • Passengers must be between 36" and 52" tall.

    • Maximum combined weight per cart is 300 lbs.

    • The tallest rider must sit in the rear of the cart ensuring the driver has a clear view of the track.

    • Please note the Rocky Mountain Coaster is weather dependent and a first come, first served activity.

    • There are a finite amount of coaster tickets for each day, and can sell out.

  • Located near the American Flyer lift, this alpine coaster will take you cruising through the forest year round.

    • Purchase tickets at The Coaster Shack

    • Located next to the Rocky Mountain Coaster in Center Village

    Guest Services

    • Center Village Guest Services is located in the Center Village Ticket Windows and inside Camp Hale Outfitters.

    • Guest Services hours 9am – 5pm

    Activity passes can be purchased on Copper Mountain’s website or at guest services.
